Standard #10: Leadership and Collaboration. The teacher seeks appropriate leadership roles and opportunities to take responsibility for student learning, to collaborate with learners, families, colleagues, other school professionals, and community members to ensure learner growth, and to advance the profession.
Artifact #1:
For the past year and a half, I've had the privilege to work for a very supportive school, and in this time I have attended various PLC meetings for both RTI and Pre-K to 2nd grade. For this artifact I have choose to attach a copy of a PLC meeting write up to demonstrate my collaboration with colleagues and other school professionals to ensure learner growth and advance the profession.

Artifact #2:
Through my experience, I have participated in fundraisers, tutoring, and after-school programs. Once a year the school holds a fall festival to raise money for student activities, and I have volunteered my time each year to both set up of stations and help in the concessions stand. In addition, the school hosts an after-school program called Launch where students can stay after school for free tutoring, physical education program, or computer learning program. I have lead both tutoring and physical education groups from grades PreK to 5th grade. These experiences have helped me learn more about the community and parents of the students I work with every day. It's allowed me the opportunity to learn more about my students and see them in an environment outside of the classroom.
