The Learner and Learning: Standard #2

Standard #2: Learning Differences: The teacher uses understanding of individual differences and diverse cultures and communities to ensure inclusive learning environments that enable each learner to meet high standards.

ARTIFACT #1:

For Standard #2, I demonstrated my understanding through a first-grade math lesson plan when I incorporated adaptations and understanding into the learning environment of my lesson to include diverse ELL student culture to meet high standard.

ARTIFACT #2:

Throughout this program, I have learned to write edTPA commentary for my lesson/unit plans.  Number 3 on the edTPA commentary demonstrates my understanding of Standard #2 because this part requires the justification of why various instructional strategies were chosen and how it meets the needs of various students.
